Buckingham Football Club are pleased to announce the appointment of Rory Williams as First Team Manager for the 2023-24 season.

Chairman Tony Checkley said “For all sorts of reasons, it has been a really difficult decision, and as always the quality of applicants has been very high, but we feel that the management team that Rory has put together is right for the club at this time.”

“Next season is going to be an exciting time not just for the club but, for the town as well, a single senior team representing the town of Buckingham.”

“I want to reiterate that this venture does not mark an end to Buckingham Athletic or Buckingham United. On the contrary, it represents a continuation of the footballing legacy within this town.”

I firmly believe in the significance of nurturing local talent, as it is so important for any club's success. “Together with my coaching team, we eagerly anticipate meeting and working with this talented squad.
